The Cooking Tenor started as a concept, bringing two great passions to fruition:
Etienne van der Nest is a classically trained tenor who tailors fine cuisine accompanied by beautiful repertoire and wine.
The Cooking Tenor events are held worldwide, from your kitchen the finest dishes will be created by Etienne and his team.
You do not require a ball room. In fact many of our cooking shows take place in more intimate setting hosting 6 to 10 guests.
Depending on the location of your venue we will provide the prepared ingredients and wine, locally sourced and farm to table. All our dishes will be prepared fresh and to the highest standard.

All dietary requirements should be registered one week prior to the event.
Four to seven courses of the finest quality local produce, farm sources, is what you can expect.

The Cooking Tenor shows are held regularly in western Europe, Southern Africa and the USA. We are looking forward to a tour of Asia soon.
With each dish in mind we not only pair the perfect wine but also the best repertoire to accompanied the course.
Etienne is accompanied by, strings or piano. Electronic pianos are arranged for venues without piano.
Repertoire will range from, Neapolitan song, Chanson, Musical to light Opera. All carefully tailored for you to your taste.
